Authenticity of our reviews
We believe it's important that reviews provide the best possible picture of our products and services. Our ratings are therefore managed impartially by WebwinkelKeur.
WebwinkelKeur has taken various measures to guarantee the authenticity of reviews. For example, it verifies whether reviews come from real customers and screens out inappropriate or misleading reviews. You can find more information about these measures here.
Our customers are not rewarded for writing reviews. No discounts or other gifts are given.
Reviews matter!
Were reviews important to you when you placed your first order with The Olive Label? Chances are they were. Before you order from a webshop for the first time, you want to know if it's trustworthy, if the quality is right, and if promises are kept. You, too, probably looked at the reviews first and then decided whether to transfer your money.
So, reviews matter! Of course, for our visibility on the internet, but they are even more important because they helped you make the right decision! And with your review, you can help other customers make a fair assessment and confidently place their first order.
Were our reviews important to you when you placed your first order? Then you understand that your review is now valuable to the next customer.
Google Reviews
Many customers have taken the trouble to leave a short review via WebwinkelKeur. We have an unprecedentedly beautiful 9.9 for the shop and service, and many great product reviews. Both ratings are vital to us. A few days after your order, you will automatically receive an email invitation for this.
We currently have very few reviews on Google, even though many new customers discover us there for the first time, and it would greatly help our discoverability. Are you satisfied with your order and our service? Then we would love it if you would also leave a short Google review. Thanks!

Privacy and visibility of reviews
Leaving a review is still a bit uncomfortable for many people. Not least because most people consciously consider whether they want their name to be circulating on the internet. For some, it feels like they are visible to strangers. And that's true, but also not. Due to the anonymity of billions of people on the worldwide web, this is only partially true.
When you read the reviews, did you remember the names? Of course not.
Nevertheless, with all interactions on the internet, including leaving reviews, you should ask yourself: do I want to associate my name with what I am writing now for the coming years? If you are honest and know that your opinion matters, why not?
Leaving a review via WebwinkelKeur feels less daunting for many people than a Google review, as it takes place more within the webshop's review system.
Google reviews, however, are publicly visible on Google Maps and in Google Search and often feel more personal as a result. You can adjust this, as explained below.
Are you hesitant to post a Google review because your name will be visible? We understand that completely. A Google review is public. At the same time, an honest, positive review is something valuable: it helps other people make a good choice with more confidence.
It is therefore wise to first check on Google how your name is displayed in a review. In Google Maps, you can first see how you are publicly visible and, in many cases, also use a customized display name and photo for public contributions.
Here's how to check or change this in Google Maps: open Google Maps, click the three lines in the top left, go to Contributions (Your contributions), and select View your profile or Edit profile. There, if the option is available, you can enable 'Use a custom display name & picture for posting' and adjust your display name. At least, that's how it works in April 2026. The route is likely to change slightly after an update, but know that it's possible.
