Collection: French olive oil

At this moment, we do not have any French extra virgin olive oil in our assortment. We are in discussions with several producers in France, but we have not yet selected an oil that meets our requirements.

We work exclusively with small producers and select based on quality, freshness, and measurable values such as polyphenol content.

What are the requirements for good French olive oil?

Good extra virgin olive oil from France is recognized not only by its origin but especially by its quality and freshness. Pay attention to the harvest year, rapid processing after picking, a good flavor profile, and proper storage. Polyphenols can also indicate bitterness, pungency, and the amount of natural antioxidants.

These factors are more important than the country of origin alone.

Why are we currently not selling French olive oil?

We only include olive oil in our assortment that meets our quality criteria. This means we select based on taste, freshness, and measurable values, and not solely on origin.

We are currently in discussions with several producers in France, but have not yet selected an oil that meets these requirements. As soon as that changes, this page will be updated.
